Yesterday morning we all put on our Gannon shirts for a morning walk and visited a church and a nursing home. Compared to the nursing homes back in Erie, this was quite a different experience. One thing that came to our attention was that the elderly at the nursing home were ambulatory compared to being in a wheelchair or bedbound that we see a lot back home. Today, Thursday morning, we went into a local village and observed the Sacred Heart Nursing students community clinical. We were welcomed into patients home and observed patient teaching. Great start to the day so far!
